Why Does IO Interactive Hate Casual Gamers?

Hitman: Blood Money

I bought Hitman: Blood Money, and was immediately pissed to find out that you have to complete an entire scenario for your game to be saved. "Temporary" (in the middle of the scenario) saves are supported, thank goodness. However, once you quit the application, you loose those temporary save points. Next time you play, you have to start all over again at the beginning of the scenario.

This is completely incompatible to my lifestyle right now. Between work (at home), my wife, my son, phone calls, and cooking meals, I get less than a hour a day to sit down at my computer and play a game. It is physically impossible to play through many of these scenarios in that time.

Are game designers that out of touch with what life is like for non-hard core gamers? Do they even care?
